The Problem
A grassroots nonprofit working with the Latino community needs to write compelling grant narratives efficiently while maintaining their authentic organizational voice.
The Prototype
Because my organization already has Google workspace, which gives me access to Gemini for free, I chose to create a custom Gem to help me craft grants and grant reports. By giving the Gemini access to a tailored Knowledge base about my organization, and consciously engineering prompts that help it reflect the voice and feel of my organization, it is able to produce grant narratives very close to how I would write them from scratch.
